CENTRAL MAINE CHRISTIAN SOFTBALL LEAGUE
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The purpose of Central Maine Christian Softball League is to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord of all, Lord of our lives and everything in them to each man, woman, and child through the fellowship created by playing the game of organized softball.
We desire our league and teams to love the Lord with all of their heart, mind and soul as well as each other when playing this great game the Lord has created. We want to share the love of Christ to all players, officials, spectators, family and friends alike by speaking uplifting words and continued faithful prayer each and every season.
Our behavior on and off the field of play reflects Christ, so we aim to always honor Him with our attitudes, actions, speech and sportsmanship. We also desire to edify the body of Christ by ministering to and encouraging each other throughout the league. Building each other up in the Lord and teaching Christ-like principles, while obeying all teachings of Jesus are vital ingredients of a deeper formation of faith.
The softball games and competition offer a hope of purpose to get’em, ground’em, grow’em for good works unto God by helping make disciples of our softball players, officials, spectators, family and friends by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ so that He will become their personal Lord and Savior.
Let it be said the Central Maine Christian Softball League will continue to lead the unbelieving to Faith and the faithful to action from this day forward.
