The 50+ Softball League activity including practices held on Saturdays has been suspended until April 12, 2020. However, as of now, the 50+ Softball League will begin its Spring/Summer 2020 season May 5, 2020 for a 26 game season. Applications may be obtained by contacting Jennifer Ford, 239.292.2923. Deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, April 16, 2020. Drafting of teams will be held Monday, April 20, 2020. If you are new to the league, you must attend at least one practice before the draft so that an evaluation may take place. Practice that was held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Strausser BMX Complex, 1410 SW 6th PL, Cape Coral, FL 33991 and pre-game practices held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from around 4:45 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Cape Coral Sports Complex, located on Field 5 at 1410 Sports Boulevard, Cape Coral have also been suspended by the City of Cape Coral, Parks & Recreation Department, until April 12, 2020.
