NABF plays under American League Baseball Rules 18U and 16U Leagues are a Wood Bat Leagues Roster must be submitted to the league by the first game. Additional players may be aded by email. A type final roster must be turned in by July 1. Team will be removed from the league with no refunds if the roster form is not turned in by July 1. Each team will supply 2 game balls per game. Offensive team will replace any balls hit out of play. Exceptions: Starters will be allowed to renter a game once. No Mercy Rule - Game will be played until completion Games are not official unless 4.5 innings have been played. Under 4.5 inings will be played as suspended gamed You must have 9 players to start a game. Team can not finish with less than 9 unless an injury has occurred. Players must avoid malicious contact at all times. An ejection form malicious contact will be deemed an unsportsmanlike ejection. 14U- Teams can use an offensive and defensive lineup. Open substitutions of their defensive lienup. Scores/Standings Teams should reschedule rainout and notify the league thru email to schedule umpires Winning Team should email scores. Scores not reported in 48 hours will be considered a 7-7 tie. Standings will be determined based on Wins. Regardless of winning percentage, the team with the most wins will win the league. In case of a tie, a one game playoff will be played at a neutral site. Teams that forfeit 2 games will automatically be removed from the league with no refunds. Ejections/Protests Players and Coaches ejected are required to sit out an additional 2 games for an unsportsmanlike ejection. Umpires will report ALL ejections to the league. There is no appeal of an ejection for any reason. Protest should be submitted to the league official within 24 hours of the game. Protest must be in writing and will be ruled on within 48 hours.
