L Bonomo-18
Notes: Larry works at OPD and has been with the
Black Sox for two seasons. He is currently
engaged to Dave Peters.
J Crum-44
Notes: Joe works at OPD and this is his third
season with the Black Sox. Joe has been voted
MVP and "King of the Hill" for the last two
seasons. Joe is happily married to Brandy and
they have a three [little] person fan club that
go to all of the games.
B Darwin-51
Notes: Brian works at OPD and has been with the
Black Sox for two seasons. Brian used to play
pro baseball and now relives his dreams in a Sox
uniform. Brian is happily married to Lisa and
they just bought me a boat. Thanks guys.
B DuBerry-11
Notes: BJ has been with the Black Sox for two
seasons. He played at La Verne and is currently
trying out for the Long Beach Armada. BJ is
undecided because the Black Sox pay more.
J Duffield-22
Notes: Duff works at OPD and has been with the
Black Sox for two seasons. Duff was injured last
year during the season, but has returned strong
this year.
J Estrada-21
Notes: Pumpkin has been with the Black Sox for
three seasons. Pumpkin is always reliable and a
gamer. Pumpkin works with fire department but
really wants to be a copper.
D Gomar-26
Notes: This is Danny's first year with the Sox
and was introduced to the team by J. House. Danny
is a motivated player who can play anywhere.
R Gudino-5
Notes: This is Ramon's first season with the
Black Sox. Ramon was introduced to the team by
Pumpkin. Ramon played college ball and we are
excited to have him on the team.
G Gutierrez-7
Notes: The Skipper
T Haire-9
Notes: This is Tommy's first season with the Sox.
Tommy is an all around athlete that can play
anywhere. Tommy was introduced to the Sox by J.
HOuse.
L Hayes-29
Notes: Len currently works LASD San Dimas. Len
has been with the team since it's original birth
into the league in 2002, when we were the
Brewers. Len is the king of one liners and I can
always count on him whenever I need him.
R Holmes-10
Notes: Holmes works at OPD. Holmes played and
graduated from La Verne. Holmes is always
reliable and an outstanding short stop. Holmes
has been with the Sox for two seasons and
received the Golden Glove award in 2006.
J House-1
Notes: Jay has been with the Sox since 2003. Jay
has one of the best attitudes towards life and
the game. Jay is currently in Law School. Jay
is a huge asset to the team and is super reliable.
A Mendez-34
Notes: Andrew works at OPD. This is Andrew's
second season with the Sox. He was brought onto
the team by his brother Vince (who is away
playing college ball). Andrew never
complains.....or talks. Andrew is always at the
games and ready to handle any task.
B Naranjo-12
Notes: Bobby has been with the team since day
one, when we were the Brewers in 2002. Bobby has
been a huge part of the team every year and is
always clutch, whether it be hitting or pitching.
Bobby has made the All-Star team several years
in a row.
C Neu-15
Notes: Craig played ball at La Verne. Craig is a
wicked submariner. Craig has been a Black Sox
member since 2004.
F Palomares-3
Notes: Fernando is new to the Black Sox this
season. Darwin stole him from the Moreno Valley
Fury after we beat them in the Championship last
season. Fernando is a reliable dedicated player
with winning attitude. Fernando plays everywhere.
C Perry-27
Notes: Perry works at OPD. Perry has been with
the Black Sox since 2005. Yes Chris, we know you
hit a walk off grand slam against Fernando in the
championship, but he is our teammate now.
D Peters-8
Notes: Dave works at OPD. Dave has been with the
Black Sox since 2005. Dave was brought on as
pitcher. Dave pitched at Cal State LA. Dave is
happily married to Larry Bonomo.
M Rosales-32
Notes: Rosie works at Long Beach PD and was
brought onto the team by Darwin. Rosie is lucky
to have a pack of weenies on the back of his
head, or he may not be alive. Go Doyers!!!
J Van Duyne-34
Notes: Van Duyne works at OPD. Van Duyne has
been with the Black Sox for two seasons. Van
Duyne is the only guy who weighs 110 and can hit
the ball four hundred feet.
D Williams-19
Notes: Darren works OPD. Darren played pro
soccer for the Galaxy and decided he liked
baseball more.
