Rancho Niguel Volunteers SHINE:
"I just wanted to thank your league for their hospitality last night at the Majors TOC game. My team had a rough outing but your snack bar volunteers after the game came over and gave my boys hot dogs, burgers and pretzels to help them get over their disappointment. And as we all know shortly after they were back on the field playing catch, enjoying the game of baseball."
I wanted to thank your volunteers for their kind gesture and hope you can let them know it was greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Ron Crocco
Manager, Sill Tarheels

Northwood Junior TOC Players: This is a recap of the behavior of the Northwood JR TOC players on Thursday evening from the Plate Umpire - "I am back in Sacramento today and I happened to run into Pat Guinet, the NWLL President at SNA this morning. I mentioned to him that I had done Ralph's game last night and that in spite of the loss being obviously a stinger for their team, as Jerry (Base Umpire) and I sat eating after the game, each one of his boys came by to thank us for doing the game. It was a great tribute to Ralph and his team.... Although I had a great time doing the game (as I do enjoy most games), that was one of those moments that had me just overjoyed. I get really thrilled when I see a manager teaching his boys how to be good men." To the Northwood Junior TOC players, "GREAT JOB, young men!!!!"

As there are many practicing religions across the nation, and in our area, canceling games on one particular day for one religion without consideration of them all is not an option. Therefore, tournament games are scheduled on every day of the week. If you have a complaint about this practice in District 55, please feel free to email the District Administrator, Tamara Lindner, at: da@district55.org.
